要旨：Since the discoveries of the first planet outside our solar system around 30 years ago, we have found more than 5000 exoplanets. Discoveries and follow-up observations of these systems revealed a large diversity of exoplanets in terms of their basic characteristics, such as radius, period, mass, and system architecture, as well as the host stars they orbit around. This will be an introductory seminar on observational exoplanet science, including detection methods and some of the most active science topics in finding and characterizing exoplanets.

（約 30 年前に太陽系外の最初の惑星が発見されて以来、5000 以上の系外惑星が発見されてきた。 これらの惑星系の発見とフォローアップ観測により、半径、周期、質量、惑星系の構造などの基本的な特性、およびそれらが周回するホスト星の観点から、系外惑星が非常に多様であることが明らかになった。 本講演は、系外惑星の発見と特徴付けにおける検出方法や最も活発な科学トピックのいくつかを含む、観測系外惑星科学の入門セミナーである。）
